MGD Girls’ School holds traffic awareness session for students

Jaipur: The MGD Girls’ School organised a traffic awareness session for students of Classes VII and VIII on August 18, focusing on road safety, traffic rules and responsible commuting.

The session was led by Ranu Sharma, Additional DCP Traffic (South), along with Traffic Inspector (Education) Ramkripal Meena and Head Constable (Education) Prem Singh.

Students actively participated in the session, asking questions and discussing situations they commonly encounter while travelling to and from school. The officials explained the importance of following traffic rules, staying alert and adopting safe practices while commuting.

Ranu Sharma also highlighted the importance of safety measures by school van drivers and spoke to students about emergency helpline numbers they should know and use when required.

The interactive session encouraged students to look at road safety as a shared responsibility and to become more careful and responsible road users.

The programme reinforced a simple message for the students: know the rules, stay alert and stay safe.
