MSB School students discuss law and civic responsibility
Jaipur: Students of Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School took up an interesting topic during their morning assembly on August 18 — “Ignorance of law is not an excuse.”
The assembly was presented by students of Class XI-E, who explained the idea through presentations and examples from everyday life. They spoke about areas that are particularly relevant to young people, including cyber safety and traffic rules.
The students also discussed how knowing basic laws can help people make informed choices and understand their responsibilities. Traffic rules, online safety and responsible behaviour were among the issues highlighted during the presentation.
The assembly turned into a practical lesson on legal awareness, with students connecting the topic to situations they may come across in their daily lives. It also highlighted the importance of young people understanding not just their rights, but their responsibilities as citizens.
The initiative by the Class XI students brought a legal topic into the school assembly in a simple and relatable way, encouraging their peers to be more aware of the rules that govern everyday life.
